The Countryside Foundation for Education (CFE) is an independent educational charity. The CFE aims to increase awareness and understanding of the countryside as a living, working environment. The CFE, to date, has produced two resource packs, one for use with primary school pupils, “The Lychford File” , and the second, available on-line, for use with secondary school pupils, “A Case for the Countryside”. The CFE also provides In-Service Teacher Training on a national basis working with LEAs and other related organisations.
